CHURCH OF THE LIGHT

Church of the light is the main chapel in Ibaraki Kasugoka Church in the Japanese city, Ibaraki.
The chapel was built in 1989, by the Japanese architect Tadao Ando.

The space is defined by the strong contrast between light and solid.
Light enters from behind the altar from a cross in the concrete wall.
